Theresa Starnes, Senior Associate, joined Headlands Capital in 2024 and works on the Headlands Capital Secondary Program. Prior to joining Headlands Capital, Theresa was a Senior Associate at Industry Ventures, a $7 billion venture capital and buyout firm. At Industry Ventures, Theresa was a Senior Associate on the secondary team, where she focused on originating and valuing investments, gaining deal experience in direct secondaries, as well as LP-led and GP-led secondary transactions. Before joining Industry Ventures, Theresa was an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS. There, she was part of the Global Industrials Group, gaining deal experience in M&A, debt financings, and equity raises for automotive technology, cruise, and other industrial companies. Theresa holds a BS in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University and is a CFA Level 2 candidate.
